“Dex” the yellow pages company hired me to photograph a building contractor in Portland Oregon for an
upcoming Dex business magazine. It was the leading story and made the cover of the issue. I spent an
entire day with the company and met many of its employees. What a great group of people. Their green
status is admired by many, even from within. I was impressed.
Jeff at Water Street needed great photographs for two of his restaurants. I worked to capture
the color and feel of the two locations. The places were wonderful to shoot, so much work has
gone into interior design. Classy joints make for good photographs, is what I always say.
A local boutique had me shoot some of the stores inventory of womens athletic clothing. There was a very cute baby involved. See for yourself.
My good friends Le Matt and Greta Jane are putting together an album about death. These images were taken
in December on Ward Lake in Thurston County. They were certainly alive for the shoot, death never looked so
good. And please don’t contact me about her hat, as she is unwilling to part with it – for any sum.
Micheal Jackson said he was a lover not a fighter, but for some, its all the same thing.
I was asked to help out at a fundraiser for Community Print, a non-profit organization
in Olympia – the theme? Lovers and Fighters Ball. Valentines 2007. Over the years I
have grown to love photobooths. I am still waiting for the adventurous couple to hire me
to run one at a wedding.
The current opperators of the Ramada Inn in Downtown Olympia have decided to purchase the Hotel and switch it over to an independently operated joint. The Governors House, or the “gov shack” as we got to calling it, needed new marketing photos. They wanted to focus on the people that make the hotel pleasant to stay at, so thats exactly what we did on during our days shooting.
