As some of you may already know, I am a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA.com) – an
international organization of excellent photographers. Its an honor to be in their ranks. Today I was delighted to
discover that I placed in their very competitive photo contest, not once, but three times. You can see my shots,
as well as the other winning photographs here:

Steve & Starr…. Bainbridge Island
Everything was perfect. The tent was situated in the reed lined upper garden, with extra seating on pathways
on the way down to the shoreline. Starr is a seasoned wedding photographer by trade (starr photography)
so the pressure was on to make her love the photos. It was a breeze, with everyone so lively and affectionate.
We also had the added excitement of the tide quickly coming in on our beach photoshoot. We were nearly
trapped. The bride was almost taken out to sea. Almost. We ended up dancing and drinking our salty fears
away. What a great time.
